    Lydia?

I have a question: is Lydia in Eb major in this book?

    great pick

Faure wrote a zillion songs, and they're a mixed bag -- there's a lot of crap in there. But this collection is uniformly topnotch. It's got ever single one of the truly great songs as well as several that are merely very good. I was concerned about the effect of transposing the piano parts lower than written, but not a problem, they seem to work as well here. It's not, after all, a large difference, at most a third or so down. And if you are unfamiliar with the accompaniments, you'll be pleased and surprised by how well they fit the hands. You'll sound just like Dalton Baldwin. It would be hard to imagine a better grouping of Faure songs -- buy it now.
