This book contains twenty-five such arrangements. Each hymn has two accompaniments: the first is based on the traditional harmonization and the second is an embellished !last verse! arrangement. In every verse the piano part opens with a short rest, helping to overcome the problems which arise when the piano and organ are at a considerable distance from each other. The piano part includes some indication of pedaling and the organ part assumes the use of the pedal throughout.
