Set one note higher than the original it uses the entire range of the guitar from a tuned down bottom D up to the F# on fret 14 to make a wall of sound.It runs for nearly 5 minutes, and like so many good modern tunes there are countermelodies, subtle variations on repeats and a really satisfying sound.My arrangement for 3 guitars would sound even more impressive in a large ensemble setting.There are no fingerings - the most important thing about this piece is to find a position that works for the players.This is a large piece - the music takes up 4 sheets of paper per player...I hope you enjoy this piece!"This is one of a large and growing range of accessible ensembles from experienced arranger Derek Hasted, and is supplied as full score and parts.
