This choral piece popped up just when I needed a new anthem for my church choir. I couldn't stop listening to it and the selection never failed to move me. Musically well written, easy to learn, upbeat style but not overdone. Will please the 'older' members of the congregation as well as interest the younger. Limited voicing in your group? Have everyone jump back and forth between the treble and bass lines. Due to only 4 choir members showing up and just one rehearsal left before Easter, I eventually had a 9th grade young man sing the entire anthem alone doing just that. Buy this piece; it will be in your regularly programmed Easter anthems for years. I can't wait until my entire choir can learn it for next Easter.
