Great Supplemental Book!

I LOVE that this book exists! It introduces staff notes one at a time and has been a great help in helping students who struggle with the transition to the staff. I often use this in conjunction with the Music for Little Mozarts books and will have kids who struggle with note reading color in the notes with the same colors that the MFLM books use to help practice identifying notes before playing the song. This book has been a BIG help for some of my students who might have quit out of frustration otherwise.

Fun Method

This is a great method for the very young and other slower learners who enjoy animals and music. The CD's for at home listening/reinforcing are a great tool and the songs for each of the notes are catchy and fun for the kids to sing. I'm waiting for the next level to be published?? Doesn't seem to be available yet, but my student will need it soon!!!
