Salve Regina Pour Orgue Chamber Music - Sheet Music
The Salve Regina is one of four Marian antiphons sung at different seasons within the Christian liturgical calendar of the Roman Catholic Church. This one draws its inspiration from an improvisation created in April 1999 at Lawrence University in Kansas, paraphrasing the Marian anthem, alternating each phrase of the original verse with its organ commentary. The Gregorian chant can be sung by a solo male or female voice or a children’s choir, but it is also possible to play the organ passages without vocalists. For advanced players. Dur: 22’50
