About Kathleen Massoud
Kathleen Massoud received her musical training in piano performance at Hartt College of Music in Hartford, Connecticut and Longy School of Music in Cambridge, Massachussetts. She has taught piano independently for 20 years and is an active member of the National Guild of Piano Teachers. Currently, she is president of the Southeastern Chapter of the Massachussetts Music Teachers Association.
Her husband, Steven, is also a piano teacher. Together they established the Massoud Piano Studio in 1980 in New Bedford, Massachussetts. They also perform together as a piano duet team.
In additon to her teaching, Kathleen enjoys singing in the church choir (which her husband directs), doing volunteer work for their church and writing poetry. She and her husband are the proud parents of a daughter, Marianna.
