Overall this is a good teaching book. The DVD is where I had problems. The fellow playing the uke goes to fast. For a beginner I would have greatly appreciated him going through the song at least 3 to 4 times. Starting the song being played slowly and then progressing...

forward a little faster with each repeat of playing the song. It would have been nice to have someone signing the songs as well.
