String Quartet String Quartet - Level 4 - Digital Download

SKU: A0.852881

By The Beatles. By John Lennon and Paul McCartney. Arranged by Matthew Naughtin. Rock. Score and parts. 7 pages. Matthew Naughtin #2331677. Published by Matthew Naughtin (A0.852881).

When the lovely melody for "Yesterday" came to Paul McCartney in a dream, it was so perfect he played it for several other musicians to make sure he wasn't unwittingly recalling something he'd heard before. Assured it was original, he initially gave it some nonsense lyrics to help him remember it: "Scrambled eggs, Oh you’ve got such lovely legs, Scrambled eggs." Fortunately his bandmate John Lennon came up with a better choice of words and "Yesterday" went on to become one of the most-recorded songs of all time. This beautiful arrangement for string quartet includes the score and all four parts.
