i played this my freshman year. it is so amazingly perfect to play. its touching and teaches high school students to play gracefully and sweet instead of aggressive all the time.

I recently played this in my middle school honor band. The only hard part is how lyrical it is.

This piece was abolutely beautiful. I played this in Honor Band, ABA District II, and I thought it was so touching. Our Clinition knew the man this song was written for personally. He was the father of one of her band students, and he went to Iraq to build school...

for children, and was captured and killed. She cried when we played it. The writer has a very touching skill at melodys and chords. I love this piece, and would play it every week.

This is the most expressive, rich and warm piece I have ever played. It is so emotional and has a story attached. It would bring a tear to a glass eye.
