This book was comparatively cheap (I bought it for the C# minor waltz), and I have others of the series so the colors matched (always a plus); the print is a bit small in my opinion, but it appears accurate and has certain courtesy markings (especially considering all the double...

sharps) that make it a good tool. I'm certainly not an expert, but I like this series.

  • September 17, 2011 Nice book

I am not going to discuss Chopin himself as more learned people have done so. This version is part of the many books produced by the Schirmer's Library of Music Classics. I have several books from this collection ranging from Beethoven through Rachmaninoff to Chopin, all purchased through Sheet...

Music Plus. All the books are well made and use a clear font. With regard to this Chopin book, I am playing Valse No.7 and my only issue with this version is the fingering shown in bar 4 and the other bars that repeat. The fingering given makes it very hard to transition between the F sharp, G sharp and putting the 5th finger on the B natural. Otherwise, it is an excellent book which I warmly recommend as economical way of purchasing some of Chopin's Waltzes

I order the Waltz book for one specific piece and found myself enjoying quite a few.

There is only one store in our entire area that carries sheet music and the selection is very limited. It was great to find your website and to be able to receive what I was looking for in such short order. I took classical piano lessons for ten years, but...

that was long before marriage, kids and grandkids. I was anxious to find some of the music I used to play such as the Chopin Waltzes. What fun to be able to sit down and play the music again, strictly for my own enjoyment.
