Has play along exercises that my daughter is using to get a feel for jazz. Exercises may help expose technical flaws with fingering, tempo and rhythm.

AT first very difficult to understand what Jamey wanted; but after reading carefully and diligently, i found the information unbelievably accessible...While i am still struggling with the musical concepts, i know it will be a workbook i'll keep with me for many years to come!

  • December 11, 2007 Jazz for everyone

This article is the most important literature in learning improvising for everyone - the beginner, advanced & professional jazz musician either. It offers good traditional licks and allows you to create own ideas on basic chord changes. Of course, it is only an additional work to everyday practise and listening to CDs...

but necessary to have the opportunity to transfer the ideas in your head onto your instrument.
