I really think this is an awesome book, it is insanely hard though-just look at the solo for pulse of the maggots-can't believe that mick can play that. Anyway,I would highly recommend this book-It's dead on, every song is tabbed out perfectly. It is...

not for beginners though. Slipknot is SIC.

  • September 30, 2005 Slipknot: Vol. 3. The Subliminal Verses

This is for advanced guitarists that's for sure. In terms of difficulty it's a great leap forward from the songs on Iowa. Just check out the solo in 'Pulse Of The Maggots' and you'll know what I mean. To all the people that said Mick and Jim...

can't play and that their image is more important to them-this proves them wrong!. You're gonna be busy for years if you want to learn this whole book perfectly. One last thing. If you buy the Total Guitar magazine which has had some Slipknot tabs in it recently ('Before I Forget', 'Vermilion') then I would still highly recommend buying this book to relearn those songs because they are not 100% correct. In this tab book they are! Buy it!
