I absolutely love this song. I sang it in high school and loved it then, such a fun song to sing...at the time our motivation for the song was why it was written, in a celebration of the composers' wifes' life after all the mourning was finished for it...

. Well my father just passed on and I believe for the first time I actually understand the song. I just listened to it again and now I can hear the beauty comes from the pain, it is indeed a celebration, but the hurt is not fully gone...nor should it be, but it is beautiful.

My school show choir did this song. At first we all hated it, But after hearing our selves sing it and heard it like how it's supposed to sound and what we sound like, it instantly became our favorite song. If you want a piece to challenge your group...

and have a great time doing it, I strongly suggest this one. It is simply Phenomenal.

This is one of the most wonderful acapella pieces I've ever heard! It is a little repetitive, but when you sing it, there's an amazing energy that comes from the mix of voices. If your looking for something that's different and that will challenge your choir, this...

is the piece for you. I find it very inspirational, and everyone has such a great time singing it together!

This is truly an inspirational celebration of the human voice. It is freeing to sing to sing this with a group of any size, 8-100. Thanks, Greg Jasperse, this is one of the reasons I chose to pursue composition. a real masterpiece
