-some of best songs not included-the words to No one is alone are mangled at best-I really couldn't use it

I was very disappointed with this book. Not only are the arrangements choppy and make little sense (and are boring to play unless a broadway star is singing with you). Plus they are fairly difficult and working on them doesn't merit much reward. I was also vastly disappointed with...

the song choices. There is no "Children Will Listen" (the moral to the whole show!!!) and we don't get solo numbers such as Jack's "Giants in the Sky" Red's "I Know Things Now" Cinderella's "On the Steps of the Palace" and even the wolf's "Hello Little Girl". Awful selection. Why did they market this book?

"The first time I saw this show I was in shock about how good it was. The characters are great and there is always humor in the air."

Sondheim's "Into the Woods' is the work of a brilliant composer and lyricist. While it was dissapointing the the book only had seven songs, the quality of the music makes up for it's lack of quantity. While it may not be a good book to find solo music...

from, there are many wonderful peices.

I actually saw this production and it stunk. But when i bought the Liberetto i found it was very complicated. I like it but it could use some work.
