This concerto is truly is amazing. Much harder than Bach's Concertos or Paganini's, Shostakovich even... Beautiful to listen to...

As a young aspiring musician I found this concerto to be absolutely phenomonal. When playing this piece, I honestly feel like one of the pros; Perlman, Midori, you name it! This concerto has definitely helped me to be more expressive and emotional when I play, and has greatly influenced me...

to move forward in my life of music.

  • July 31, 2006 One of the hardest pieces

I reccommend this concerto to anyone who wants to be a virtuoso. This is considered one of the hardest pieces written for the violin, and when Tchaikovsky submitted this piece to his soloist, the solist couldn't play a piece that demanding. Anyways, this piece is extremely difficult, just as...

hard, if not harder that the Paganini caprices. However, this is a very beautiful piece to listen to, and if somebody were to play the complete violin oncerto well, they can confidently consider themselves a viruoso.
