    like most string players, i believe i am always right. but in this case, i am absolutely correct. this edition sucks. it was primrose's own edition of what he wanted to play and does not include the harder parts. basically, it is a watered-down version with bad fingerings...

    . try the international or peters edition.

    I thought that this piece was good for a jr. high school or high school orchestra to have a soloist viola play. On a scale of 1 to 6 I would give it a 3.5 (difficulty) because you have to fit the solo part in with the rest of the...

    orchestra. Overall this is a fun light piece to play with a lively 1st movement, beautiful 2nd, and fun rondo 3rd movement!
