Nothing wrong with this at all, just in too high a key for me as I'm only mezzo-soprano. My kind teacher is going to adjust it for me, so I have yet to sing it, but thank you for mailing it so quickly.

    Difficulty Level:
  • March 07, 2007 Well arranged and translated

Fun-yet-serious aria that needs a broad range of expression and that has a whopping pianissimo high B at the end! Sumptious piano part that doesn't lose any body from the reduction and a nicely translated English set of words. This is a wonderful arrangement of a staple...

aria of the operetta soprano repertoire with a useful literal translation and plot summary for those unfamiliar with "The Merry Widow." Well worth the price!
