I have looked at 100's of Blues guitar books. This one has some great blues examples with some of the top guitar teachers walking you through each song. I'm glad I purchased this book.

Strengths: A dozen superbly crafted solos in various blues styles, played by top-notch artists. After listening to a solo, you can then use the tab and CD to play it yourself over high-quality backing tracks. There's really no better way to improve your own improv. skills than...

by imitating great artists. Weaknesses: None, unless you're a beginner-intermediate, in which case you should look elsewhere, as many of the solos take you well outside the traditional "blues box" and involve tricky fingering and timing. With years of playing under my fingers, it still took me about ten hours just to master the first solo in the book.
