Having never picked up an instrument before, these tapes were GREAT! Ed Calle does a wonderful job of taking the viewer from how to open the case, the parts of the sax to playing your first song. Volume 1 is perfect for people like me who have never played before...

and Volume 2 builds what was taught in #1

I was so, so impressed, I purchased both tapes, and got so many new techniques, tricks and was taught to spot many of my mistakes. Great tape, worth having and keeping to view again and again. What I got the most out of the tape, which a book with notes...

and songs to practice on can’t give, was the chance to have a great player explain what he does to get a great sound from the sax.
