Written in a slow-fast form, this repertoire favorite from 1993 opens with a lyric section featuring the flutes and alternating with full ensemble chorale-like passages.     Although the opening is very beautiful, it is very uninteresting for the low woodwind section (my section). Upon getting to later sections (24 and so on) it is very fun to play. My band has A LOT of people in it, so we have to make cuts on it to...

    keep the volume proper. It is very interesting if you can keep your attention up long enough to pay attention. It is hard to keep the volumes in balance though. It's overall hard for a seventh grade bass clarinet player!! XD

    We played this song for the elementary schools in our district, and everyone loved it!! Me and my friends play our favorite parts everytime we have the chance! If you have never heard or played this song, you don't know what you are missing!
