Composed by Ira D. Sankey, William D. Bradbury, William J. Kirkpatrick, and and Lidie H. Edmunds. Arranged by G. R. Adkison. Christian,Sacred. Score. 6 pages. Gary Ray Adkison #6553. Published by Gary Ray Adkison (A0.953713).

"Trusting Jesus Medley" is an 87 measure, 4-5 octave handbell choir medley of the following Christian hymns: "Trusting Jesus" (That is All), " 'Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus", "The Solid Rock" and "My Faith Has Found a Resting Place". The theme of the medley is trust (faith) in Jesus. The medley uses OPTIONAL handchimes from C4 to D6. Of course, bells can be used in place of the chimes. The whole arrangement is pitched in G Major (no modulations) making this an easier piece than it would otherwise be. Handchimes and handbells never play at the same time, also making it easier. It starts with chimes playing "Trusting Jesus", then switches to bells at the chorus. In " 'Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus", shakes are employed toward the end of that hymn. "The Solid Rock" has some bass notes runs that include sixteenth notes. This is probably the hardest part of the arrangement (resulting in a level 3 rating). There is a subito piano tag after the last of "The Solid Rock", which is actually part of "Trusting Jesus". At the end of "My Faith Has Found a Resting Place" there is another tag, corresponding to the words, "...and that He died for me.", followed by notes corresponding to a part of "The Solid Rock", for a triple forte ending. The audio clip provided is in a piano voice/patch, but suffices to demonstrate how this arrangement is generally meant to sound.
