Composed by Rob Roy Mcgregor. Book. Softcover book. Published by Cherry Classics (CY.CC2668).

Here is a little book of wisdom that every Trumpeter must own. Small enough to tuck in a gig bag, case or pocket, these 96 pages are full of hundreds of these gems. Read below what Rob Roy McGregor has to say about his new opus.

"From ages 8 to 86, trumpet players have contributed little "lessons" they've learned about the trumpet, music and life to this collection. The first edition was fifteen years in the making. Serious, funny, and everything in between, these comments are both entertaining and thought provoking. The contributors are listed in the beginning but only the age at which the "lesson" was learned accompany the comments. It is hoped that more players will email in their own lessons to be included in future editions of this book."

Compiled and edited by Rob Roy McGregor, whose 40-year professional career as trumpeter with the West Point Band, the Baltimore Symphony and Los Angeles Philharmonic has been capped by founding Balquhidder Music and Glen Lyon Books and was the recipient of the International Trumpet Guild's Award of Merit in 2013.
