SKU: A0.882448

Composed by Johann Georg Albrechtsberger. Arranged by Matthijs van der Moolen. Baroque,Classical. Score and parts. 52 pages. Matthijs van der Moolen #29521. Published by Matthijs van der Moolen (A0.882448).

The famous trombone concerto by Johann Georg Albrechtsberger. Since there is no historical correct version available yet, this version is a completely new (urtext) edition taken from Albrechtsberger's own manuscript. You will notice that the scoring is a bit different from the existing editions. This is because the existing versions are edited for modern ensembles (like a string orchestra). The historical correct accompaniment is a continuo section plus two violins, as it is in this score.
