  • December 06, 2015 a nice pianist-friendly edition of a great piece

While not the most beautifully printed version out there (the Russian hardcover edition takes that prize), this edition is MUCH more friendly to the pianist because they've put almost all the page turns in great places. That makes a huge difference when rehearsing (and performing, if you don't...

have a page turner). The string players are not as happy with their parts because the notes are quite small.

  • March 20, 2012 Very readable

This was nicely packaged and included separate scores for the strings as well as the overall score. As for the music. It speaks for itself.

  • January 02, 2012 Shoshtakovich Piano Trio in E minor opus 67

The print for both the violin and cello parts is much smaller than average, and difficult to read.

  • August 01, 2008 Shostakovich at his best

This is an amazing piece--it's definitely one of my favorite pieces by Shostakovich (or by anyone for that matter). Not for beginners. The only thing about this edition is that the print is really small so it was a little difficult to read at times.
