Guitar, Guitar Tab - Advanced Intermediate
Composed by Alexander Scriabin (1872-1915). Arranged by Artem Krikunov. Romantic Period. Individual Part. 6 pages. Published by Artem Krikunov (S0.50739).

Item Number: S0.50739

Compilation of transcriptions of Alexander Scriabin’s 'Piano Preludes' for solo guitar including Prelude 4 Op.16 (1895), Prelude 4 Op.31 (1903), Prelude 22 Op.11 (1896). Because of his synesthesia the composer considered every key to be unique and as such are important to the pieces. Therefore each has been transcribed in its original key. Recommended for electric guitar players as certain chord positions may pose some difficulty on classical guitar. These pieces may be particularly interesting to jazz musicians playing fingerstyle guitar due to the modal polytonal harmonies which are similar to modern jazz and avant-garde music.
