Composed by Edvard Grieg. Arranged by John Jay Hilfiger. Romantic Period,Standards. 31 pages. John Jay Hilfiger #1989249. Published by John Jay Hilfiger (A0.736862).

This is a set of tuneful short pieces by Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg (1843-1907), arranged for woodwind quartet. They are fun to play and very accessible for most audiences. About 5 and-a-half minutes duration. The music is approachable for high school and college students. Although the arrangement is for standard woodwind quartet (flute, oboe, clarinet, and bassoon), there is also an alternate part for bass clarinet (bassoon). Additionally, a horn in F part is provided as an alternate to bassoon.  This part is not exactly the same, but frequently an octave higher, in a more comfortable range for horn.  ASCAP arranger.
