Our top-selling anthem in 2011 is now available as a vocal solo! Inspired by what is considered to be one of the greatest hymn texts of the 20th century, Mary McDonald has crafted an exceptional, new anthem for SATB choirs. With altered melody and lush harmonies, this fresh treatment awakens a new breadth and splendor into this timeless hymn, giving rise to the greatness that it invokes in worshiping God, our Creator. The gorgeous orchestration, by Michael Lawrence, is a true complement to Mary's splendid choral writing. Powerful arrangement! I like that the melody is new and really works with the original words. My choir's favorite anthem this year.
