The composer was often asked to accompany students at a violin recital, and he soon grew tired of the Suzuki twinkle variations. He then wrote his own set of variations to sell, and was then asked by the teacher who had hired him if her students could perform the arrangement. Some of the variation are a bit more complex than the Suzuki variations, so it is recommended that intermediate players perform this. Some of the variations (the round for instance), may sound somewhat unusual to musicians who do not regularly "Stretch their ears". The length of the piece is approximately 5 minutes, twenty-five seconds. This is the violins 1 part.
