I was unable to perform this as I was sick and unable to rehearse, but I found the song to be entertaining and the quality of the sheet music was very good. My accompanist (who is not a professional) found the music a bit challenging, but she was able to...

master it after a few hours of rehearsal. We're planning to use it next year.

My high school concert Choir is singing this song next week in our concert. I'm very excited. I've always loved this song.

This was a fun piece of music. It's a choir piece and a little difficult to do on your own.

As a freshman in highschool in 1987 I loved this song and could not wait to see the astonishment in the faces of the listeners as they thought we were going to sing some sappy serious Christmas song and it turned out to be hilarious and lightheardedly enjoyed by most...

(not to include the overzealous few who were offended and took it waaaaaaaay tooooooo seriously)piece of music. I am now 36 and recently decided to sing the song with some of the musically fun people at work for our Christmas party (among the usual "Have yourself a merry little Christmas")! I can't wait for that yawn...silence...giggle...laugh hysterically moment when I am singing it to my co-workers! Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday dear Jesus Christ!!

  • September 13, 2007 Funny!

This song is SO FUNNY!! A great novellty number into ANY kind of holiday program. Love traditional songs and carols, but it's fun to put in something a bit unusual. Love to give the audience a chuckle!
