'The Trumpets of Varese" is a superb excerpt book. The listing, "Trumpet and Piano" is misleading and incorrect. including The New Orleans Philharmonic, The Santa Fe Opera Orchestra, The St. Louis Sinfonietta, and Professor of Trumpet at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music. He is currently Music Director of The Peabody (Conservatory) Camerata, a new music ensemble. "The Trumpets of Varese" is a valuable reference source for all interested in this 20th century giant.
