The music captures the sounds of these familiar favorites well, but the notes are so far out of position for the beginners that it's difficult to play.

I bought this book for my grandchildren who have finished level 2. The songs were difficult to play because the melody involved both hands nad they were not used to that. For myself, I wish the chords were written above the music to make it easy for me to play...

    with my aging eyes.

My daughter bounces back to the piano to practise these, and loves to sing a long. The accompaniment for eidelweis is beautiful.
