  • January 31, 2009 I Love this Book!

I bought this book form Sam Ash and I love it! But it's definatly not for the Advanced (me being one) some songs, such as Winter (Little Earthquakes), Jackie's Strength(Choirgirl Hotel), and Pretty Good Year (Pink) are right( and a few other such as Spark, and Caught...

a Lite Sneeze) but others like the infamous Cornflake Girl and Past the Mission are very simplified. The sheet music also doesn't cover the parts where it's just piano playing (i.e. Winter)so people have to rather stick to ear playing on those parts. The book has a nice section at the front that has all the lyrics to the songs, this is usefull. I'd recommend this book to Toriphilles (like me :D ) and and pianests of all kinds (except beginners :) )

    Difficulty Level:
  • August 04, 2001 The best Tori piano book!

I bought this book a couple of weeks ago, and of all the Tori books that I've bought/borrowed, this is by far the best. It shows the diversity of Tori's music much better than any of the other books, and doesn't confine you to playing just...

one album. Another great thing about this book is that some of the pieces are simple, and others were suprisingly difficult. This book is great if you're a beginner who wants to improve your piano skills. Unfortunately I only could give it four stars because a lot (though not all) of the songs have the melody line included in the music, which is fine if you don't like to sing but wasn't great for me.
