  • July 10, 2009 Good Series, Good Book

This is a really good book and is part of a great series. For the reviewer who complained that the book was full of "second rate stuff by third rate composers," it's not hard to look and see what songs the book includes. The book has a great variety...

of songs and everything from Jason Robert Brown to Wicked to Avenue Q. Plus, unlike 99% of musical theatre books, there is a GOOD piano ACCOMPANIMENT instead of the melody line just doubled in the piano. It's a great buy for anyone who sings or plays.

  • December 02, 2008 Don't Bother to Buy

Tyis whole series is a case of packaging some decent, but pretty widely available show standards with second rate stuff by third rate composers which may have rarity value, but that rarity is deserved. I really wasted my money because I bought the entire series.
