  • January 20, 2009 Rediscover Piano Masterpieces!

At a recent concert in my city, a Russian pianist played Tchaikovsky't "Troika", also known as "November". The audience loved it, but few knew the name of this beautiful, very playable work. character of its season. At one time they were played very often, but then, for some unknown reason, they seemed to disappear. While I knew "Troika", the other works are a marvelous discovery for me. I have already assigned one of the pieces to an adult student. While some are quite easy, they require feeling and musicianship to play well.

I bought this book for my 11 year old daughter. It's legal for use in competitions. Notes are clear and easy to read. Great to have all 12 pieces in one book and at a great price too!

I am a 13 year old pianist, and I bought these to play some original Tchaikovsky Intermediate Piano Works. This edition is easy to read and learn.
