This is such a lovely song! The overall feel of this song is very inspirational. In fact, the chorus: "stay the course, light a star, change the world where'er you are" gave my choir director the inpiration to make our whole theme be "light a star" for this year...

. This song does get a bit difficult at the word "Moriah" when on the first syllable, everyone sings an e, then you have to jump up to a high e on the second syllable, then back down to a f# on the last syllable. You just have to make sure the choir isn't sliding up and down too much. This is not a country western song. But the notes don't go any higher than that, and the rest on the song is pretty easy & VERY beautiful. This song would add a nice touch to any choral performance.
