The narrative is the poem by Robert Browning, somewhat shortened and edited by Lawrence James, former Headmaster of Black Pine Circle School in Berkeley, CA. This has been performed at several schools and is recommended for both elementary and middle schools. It was professionally recorded in 2005 by Citywinds with Lawrence James narrating, and you may download and listen to it.
