  • July 31, 2008 No Fiddle Arrangement?

The most haunting melody in the movie, the piece is played by Mark O'Connor on fiddle. Oddly enough, there is no fiddle arrangement available. Only piano. Hmm....

The Patriot is a beautiful piece. It is not that hard; it has some dynamic, too. John Williams is one of my favorites, so I am also an old-faithful. But he is phenomal! The Patriot has it all. It's fairly up-beat, and it gets the point across...

on why Mel Gibson's character was a patriot. You won't regret buying it for your collection. Unless you have peculiar taste in music! Whichever, contact me if you have questions or comments about it at my e-mail.

  • August 20, 2007 Sweet Folksy Melody

This piece has an innocent, colonial melody at its heart but it's difficult and complicated enough to be a satisfying play. Although the melody repeats itself througout its not redundant and it resolves itself nicely.

  • March 11, 2001 Very Pretty!

This is a very nice piece that I recommend buying. Though it's not overly difficult, some players will find it nice for a recital piece. And if it's too easy for that, just buy it to play for fun.
