This collection contains the seven movements from this ballet. They are arranged for solo piano, and all the harmonies are complete and full.

I thought that overall it is a very good piece of music. I felt satisfied after learning just a bit of each piece but I was still yearning to master more. It is very in depth and not for the beginner piano player. However, it is not to diffficult that...

it could be scarcely played. It is missing some of the songs in the nutcracker, but I do not miss them too much. However, I think that the overture in the beginning is a little uneccesary. People who would buy this version aren't looking to play in a huge performance and are mostly looking to be able to play nutcracker music. I feel that it would be more practical to replace to overture with say the Spanish dance. However, I thouroughly enjoyed the music. Thankyou

Great edition! The volume contains the suite as Tchaikovsky originally transcribed it. There are minor editorial changes, but these have been notated in the score itself. Contains the following pieces: Miniature Overture, March, Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy, Russian Dance ("Trepak"), Arab Dance, Chinese Dance, Dance of the Reed Flutes...

, and Waltz of the Flowers. An excellent collection for solo piano, especially at Christmas.
