I cry every time I hear this song. It is beautiful. The arrangement is quite simple, but the splits in each part are a challenge for my choir as I don't have a lot of singers for the lower parts and few of my singers read music well. I...

highly recommend this song for use at Memorial Day or Veterans' Day programs.

My choir is about to learn this piece after I heard it on the Film, "We were Soldiers". To achieve the right acoustics and atmosphere it is best sung in a Church. A powerful piece of music to instil pride and satisfaction in a choir and leave your audience in...

awe. Without doubt one of the best short modern choral pieces of today. Well done to the composer, lyricist and arranger. Given the choice I would have the male voice choir sing this but if you over balance the Basses and Tenors against the Sops and Altos you can achieve pretty much the same result.

Our church choir just sang this for Memorial Day. It was impossible for us to sing it as slow as seen on utube; emotions got the best of us! However, the words HAD to come out...so beutifully haunting; respectful like we've never heard.

We performed this piece at two community functions with the accompaniment track. It was amazing!
