This has to be my favorite song to play. It has so much contrast in the sections and it is so intense. We played this song for our band contest in our district of Christian schools, and I'm so glad that we played this song for my last contest...

. The story behind this wonderful song is so powerful and sad. I enjoyed every minute playing this song.

This piece was the hardest I'd ever played, and I enjoyed the challenge. The rest of the band- especially the percussion- had lots of fun with our limited equipment!

I absolutely love this piece! It was probably my favorite piece from high school band because of its interesting contrasts and the powerful story behind it.
