I am learning to play the accordion and chose this book because I liked the songs. I am teaching myself and getting there slowly but surely, I love this book. I would have loved a CD but how and ever. THUMBS UP

  • March 31, 2001 A book of true Irish songs!

This is an excellent book for someone trying to play real Irish songs on their accordion. After buying in it January, I found it easy to master within a month, in time for St. Patrick's Day (I play at about the intermediate level). My family really celebrates our Irish...

heritage, and we had classic Irish dancing to these simple, Irish songs. Highly recommended as both a warm-up book and simple Irish songs!
