  • December 25, 2008 Amazing Piece

We did this piece as part of our field show when I was in marching band during high school. We always got high points for music selection. It's a fun piece to play with great musical layers and incredibly dramatic.

I had the honor of playing the solo in the beginning on the soprano. It is defiantly my favorite song I have played in band. It is a really moving song. It's peaceful, strong, and moving song. I highly recommend it.

This song really is one of the best I've ever played. The solo in the beginning is really theatrical and the percussion parts are very cool. I'd recommend this song to be played by very good bands.
