This song is simply amazing. It is so dark and powerful. When we played it for our spring concert last year, everyone was completely shocked (even us). I play the Oboe, and solo was so awesome to play. This piece is just amazing.

This piece in combonation with the rest of the divine comdey peices (the infurno, Purgatorio, the Ascension, and Paradiso) is the most moving work i have ever played/ heard in my life. I can never play it with out crying... we played it when two members of our band passed...

away and everyone was just in tears. it's simply amazing.
