Merle Travis's playing combined blues, jazz, ragtime and country music into a unique style that defined "Country Fingerstyle Guitar." In this exciting dvd lesson, Marcel Dadi teaches seven of Merle's greatest instrumentals: Fuller's Blues, Cane Break Blues, Blue Bells, Saturday Night Shuffle, Memphis Blues, Cannon Ball Rag and Walkin' The Strings. All the tunes are transcribed in a 60 page tab/music booklet.     While not for the beginner, Marcel Dadi's skillful interpretations of the famous Merle Travis style of figerpicking will lighten the hearts, and inspire the fingers, of many players to new musical heights. Even seasoned players will find this product worthwhile. I've played the guitar for some 35 years...

    , generally strumming and flat picking, and rather poorly at that. Since starting the Travis style technique, I now sound more like the player I always wanted to be. I'd encourage any player to adapt and adopt this style!
