  • March 05, 2009 A great duet!

I really enjoyed playing this piece with my sister. We're both advanced, so this piece is a great "show" piece, but not too difficult to play. The call-response from Primo to Secondo really makes this piece, in my opinion. The only thing we didn't like is that...

the ending is a bit weak, and the editing takes some getting used too. But the arpeggios in the Secondo make a great contrast to the tight melodic passages in the Primo, and the lyrical central section beautifully meshes with the grandious fanfare of the beginning and ending! A great piece!

This is a really great piece of music that combines many chords with slow and fast tempos. It also helps to build hand strength. It is a great duet for students looking for a challenge.
