This book is pretty cool and has most of Alicia's well - known pieces. It's for the groovy kind of piano player who likes just sitting down and getting a bit of funky stuff going. You'll need to have a good sense of timing to play these or...

else you should get a recording of the songs so you can hear what they should sound like. Well worth the money you'll pay for it.

I enjoy sightreading and consider myself to be an advanced pianist. I thought this book might bring some funk/jazz/pop to my repertoire. It's terrible. I don't know how she can play this stuff and make it sound good (because it does on the radio). But I...

can't make it work for me at all. I buried this book at the bottom of my collection and will never retrun to it. Anybody want to buy a used version (hardly opened) just call.

This book is great! Some of the timing is tricky, but once you pick it up, it sounds just like Alicia's playing on the album! Well worth the money!!

If you like Alicia Keys, you definitely should get this book. All of the songs are pretty accurately transcribed, and her music is wonderful. If I Ain't Got You is definitely my favorite, and would probably have gotten this book for that song alone. Having said that, all of...

the songs are good, so don't hesitate to buy.

I bought this book to be more "in touch" with my students. I was amazed at how lousy the music is and how trite the lyrics are. Nothing personal to Alicia Keys fans, but don't buy this unless you already like her music. Like so much of the junk...

that's floating around these days, the music is a mile long and an inch deep. Just awful.
