This rock cantata combines precise notation in tempi, chords and vocal lines with the ad lib feeling of rock music, leaving the improvisation to the instrumentalists. A great choice for the high school choir. Available: SATB, Instrumental Parts, and Accompaniment CD.

I am so excited to find this music. I sang it in high school and was the Soprano soloist! I have been thinking about it for years and am so happy to be able to share it with others and of course to be able to sing it again! Thanks...

Norman Luboff introduced "The Creation" at a 1970's Cannon Beach, Oregon summer Choir Directors work session. It was an immediate "hit" with the assembled directors! Purchased copies for my High School choir where it became one of the most enjoyed selections ever. Had set up a two week lesson...

plan - it was almost done in five days. Wish I had a recording of this fine example of a rock cantata. A real audience pleaser too. Keg. Retired H.S. Choral Director

My sister and I also sang this in high school and have discussed trying to find it for years, as it was a moving and joyous piece to sing and hear. Both choir and multiple communities enjoyed it as we presented multi-community performances with several high schools. I thought...

I would never find it again, took a chance on your website and was thrilled. My only hope is for it's revival in public schools. I t would be a shame to deny this beautiful piece just because one might term it "religious". After all, we sing Christmas and other holiday carols! Don't miss the opportunity to partake in this beautiful work.

You can go back to high school again! Plus, the way this is scored, the rock beat is actually written out for you.
