This DVD is good for people who are beginners or intermediates who need a brush-up. Glen covers the different congas, tuning, 6 basic hand techniques (open tone, mute, bass tone, palm/finger, slap/open slap), exercises (palm/finger, paradiddles, triplet), tumbao, cha-cha-cha and bolero rhythms, swing rhythms...

and how to play timbales, bongas, djembe and studio percussion and tips. I like the fact that he says you must relax when playing the congas and not be tense in your body posture. I give 4 stars only because he does not include a manual with the DVD, which would prove very valuable for beginners.
