  • August 13, 2011 This is all you will need

Joyous Wedding and Classical Wedding are pretty much all you need for wedding gigs. Level of expertise required is intermediate, but a couple songs may be considered more advanced because of their range requirements (C# above the staff). The CD (which is sold separately) is a nice way to demo...

songs for brides-to-be who may not be familiar with them.

  • January 01, 2008 A Staple for the Wedding Trumpeter

Although some of these arrangements can be taxing, particularly on a Bb trumpet, another staple for the wedding trumpeter should be a C trumpet. A C trumpet facilitates these arrangements nicely when not owning a D trumpet. Good arrangements and no, this literature isn't the best choice for the...

  • August 05, 2006 Just what I wanted

Highly recommended for a good player with a horn smaller than a B flat. The arrangements are very well done, and every piece is in the orginal key, where it can sparkle on a D trumpet, or a nice A piccolo. One quick note: the Stanley trumpet voluntary here is...

the one that begins with the descending line from A down to D. Also, the arrangement of the Wedding March is a pleasant surprise!

  • May 18, 2006 Basic Wedding Library

This is a good Basic Library of wedding music for the fairly advanced trumpeter. With this book I am not caught off guard when asked to play a wedding, even on short notice. Admittedly, the description shoud note that pieces are in their original key and scored for both Bb...

and D trumpets. Overall, I must say, the arrangements are solid.

  • May 08, 2006 I agree with the good Doctor

These are very good arrangements where both trumpet and organ share the complexity of the arrangement. I have had nothing but positive response to these arrangements. To our complainer, I say practice, practice, practice. A good, competent Bb trumpeter has the chops to comfortably reach the F above high C...

. As for 4 sharps, again practice son - practice.
